About Me.
Hey there! My name is Sanket Naik. I have recently completed my Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai in 2021 and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science degree from San Francisco State University. I am a fast learner and I am always up for new challenges and I can adapt to changes quickly.
I am interested in Frontend Development and Machine Learning and I am familiar with technologies such as React, Next.js, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch. Over the last few years, I have developed multiple projects and completed two internships. Keep scrolling to learn more about them!

Detec-Tune
Detec-Tune is a website which uses the power of machine learning to translate the lyrics of a song into a desired language. It also has built-in music recognition so all you have to do is sing, record or upload your favorite song.

This project analyzes the US Accidents dataset from Kaggle. The project asks and answers a few important questions related to the location, temperature and time of an accident and tries to find a relation between them and the number of accidents.

Facial Expression Recognition
A Facial Expression Recognition system developed using PyTorch and OpenCV. This can be used to recognize various facial expressions such as Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happy, Sad, Surprise and Neutral. This can be used to detect a person's mood by analyzing their facial expression.

Doctor's Prescription System
This project uses handwriting recognition to recognize the names of medicines from a doctor's prescription. This is done using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) developed using the Tensorflow Framework and OpenCV.

Sierre Technologies
As a fullstack development intern at Sierre Technologies, my main role was to work with different teams on their products. The projects that I worked on during this internship were Startrightly and DailyGurus.

Summer Intern
Indian Register of Shipping
As a Summer Intern at the Indian Register of Shipping, my main role was to work on the IRClass Maritime app. The work done during the internship added various new features to the app and improved its performance. Existing bugs and errors were also fixed.
